Most artificial grass problems come from the base, not the turf. We excavate, lay and compact a sub-base, install a levelling layer and weed membrane, then fit UV-stable turf with joined seams and proper edge fixing, brushed and sand-infilled at the end. Pile heights from 25mm to 45mm, plus shorter putting-green turf.
Good UV-stable turf on a correct base generally holds up for eight to ten years before the pile flattens noticeably.
Any turf heats in direct sun. Lighter pile colours, shade and a quick rinse before use make a real difference.
Yes — with a shockpad or foam underlay and drainage-backed turf, it works on tiles, concrete and roof terraces.
